2. Definitions

Lean Team Solutions provide 3 main categories of specialised services:

Category A: Freelance Services refer to contractual professional specialist services for businesses and organisations. On mutual agreement to proceed, a Non-Disclosure Agreement or “NDA” which details unique Legal Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy is produced, approved and signed by Customer(s) and Lean Team Solutions representative.

1.1 Freelance Training Services to deliver Customer training course(s) whereby Customer provides training course syllabus, printed material, software (if unique), and venue for the entire training event. Customer may be a Training Services Provider or a Business organisation. The training material is property of Training Services Provider or Business organisation.

1.2 Freelance Consultancy Services with consultation, knowledge and advice to improve business, process and quality for effectiveness and efficiency.

Category B: Open Enrolment/Public and Corporate Courses refer to Lean Team Solutions Training Courses in specialised Lean Six Sigma knowledge and skills for improving businesses, quality, products and processes.

Open Enrolment courses are available to adult individuals, professionals or private learners with the following booking and payment procedure instructions below. Corporate Courses are available to business organisations where unique business needs require customization to facilitate with the host organisation business culture.

On successful completion, Lean Team Solutions provides Certification on successful completion. All Certifications are issued with life-time validity and does not require renewal.

Lean Team Solutions Courses cannot control and do not guarantee desired beneficial outcome. The quality of the outcome is dependent on participants who have direct self-control on time, effort and practise in the learning process, and direct influence and impact in the quality of outcome and results.

“Delegate”, “Client”, “Customer”, “Attendee”, “Participant”, “You”, “Your” refer to individual intending to or will be attending, training course(s) hosted by Lean Team Solutions.

“Terms and conditions” refer to the conditions that apply to the entire business process in booking, invoicing, payment, attendance, and submission of course work project assignments.

“Joining Instructions” refers to a set of instructions sent to attendees on receipt of payment at Lean Team Solutions. The set of instructions is for planning and preparation by confirmed attendee(s) before course event day starts, to arrive at location of venue, start and end dates, prescribed operating daily hours, stationary, personal computer or calculator equipment.

Duration of Days are defined as : 14-days = 2 calender weeks, and 30 days = 1 calender month

Category C: Research and Development Services. Lean Team Solutions undertake Research and Development in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology to non-manufacturing areas or unique services in voluntary/non-profit organisations with worthy causes. Research and Development is an initial exploration and learning view into the operations of voluntary/non-profit organisations. Research and Development is an initial exploration and learning view into the operations of voluntary/non-profit organisations. On mutual agreement to proceed, a Non-Disclosure Agreement or “NDA” which details unique Legal Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy shall be produced, approved and signed by Host organisation and Lean Team Solutions. All learning outcome and knowledge derived from completed Research and Development will become shared property of Host organisation and Lean Team Solutions. Lean Team Solutions shall have copyright to use learning outcomes in its training courses with new learners. Any further usage or dissemination or publication of said derived knowledge to the public domain shall be mutually agreed between Host organisation and Lean Team Solutions.

3. Force Majeure: Lean Team Solutions shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government actions, war, terrorism, labor disputes, power failures, training venue facilities, third party services or any other force majeure event.

4. Program Changes: Lean Team Solutions reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any training program due to unforeseen circumstances, including insufficient enrollments, instructor unavailability, or other factors beyond the control of Lean Team Solutions. In such cases, participants will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements may be offered.

5. Liability Limitation: Lean Team Solutions’s liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the training services, shall be limited to the amount paid by the participant for the specific training program. Lean Team Solutions as the training services provider shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages beyond its control.

6. Participant Responsibility and Behaviour: Participants are responsible for their own behaviour, well-being and safety during training sessions. Participants are expected to behave in a polite, professional and appropriate manner whilst attending courses. Lean Team Solutions shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to participants' property, or any other liabilities incurred by participant irresponsibility during the training program. We reserve the right to exclude participant(s) displaying dangerous, disruptive, abusive or rude or threatening language and behaviour. In such an event, no refund will be payable to excluded participant(s).

7. Intellectual Property: All training materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and course content, are the intellectual property of Lean Team Solutions as the training services provider. Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use such materials for any purpose other than personal education without explicit written consent from Lean Team Solutions as the training services provider.

8. Enrollment: Enrollment in a training program is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Lean Team Solutions reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant who has not completed the payment process.

9. Confidentiality: To facilitate learning, interactive discussions must be restricted within the confines of the training course classroom. Attendees must not quote nor reference spoken anecdotes outside the training classroom. Participants agree to maintain confidentiality of any proprietary information, trade secrets, or sensitive materials disclosed during the training program.

10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

11. Fees: Freelance Services and Training Courses

All orders placed on this Website or emailed to admin@leanteamsolutions.com will be acknowledged by Lean Team Solutions with a formal official Lean Team Solutions Invoice. The official Invoice contains details with online Business Banking account, account number and sort code and amount payable for the Client to complete payment online.

12. Payment

Lean Team Solutions is a UK VAT registered company. All payments of fees to Lean Team Solutions must be in UK Sterling Pounds and include UK VAT (+20%).

Course fees displayed on the Lean Team Solutions website are excluding VAT. Payment of fees (+ VAT) must be completed within14 days from receipt of invoice, or from start date of course, whichever is the greater.

Orders are accepted when placed either online within this website or by email to admin@leanteamsolutions.com.

On receipt of order, a formal invoice will be sent to booking individuals to complete payment online.

Lean Team Solutions reserves the right to refuse attendance to a course where full payment has not been received. Course certificates will only be issued when full payment of invoice has been received.

13. Refund Policy

Customers may cancel and withdraw with 30 calendar days' notice to us where the training course has long lead times exceeding 30 calendar days.

We offer a 14-day cooling off period where customers can cancel and receive a full refund, as long as all materials are returned. Customers must contact us in writing to request a cancellation and refund authorisation within the applicable time period. Refunds are typically provided for the full amount paid, excluding any express delivery or other additional fees.

After the 14-day cooling off period, refunds are not available.

The 14-day cooling off period does not apply to late orders with less than 14-days from scheduled start date of training course(s).

We may consider refunds for extenuating circumstances, but this is at our discretion and may incur additional costs.

Refunds are not available for any element of the training course, including course materials delivered to customers, missed training sessions or certification exams or bundled course meals at training venue.

14. Age restriction

You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age before you can use this website. By using this website, you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, and you may legally adhere to this Agreement. Lean Team Solutions assumes no responsibility for liabilities related to age misrepresentation.

15. User information

As a user of this website, you may be asked to register/contact with us and provide private information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of this information, and you are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of your identifying information.

If you think there are any issues regarding the security of your account on the website, inform us immediately so we may address them accordingly.

We reserve all rights to terminate user contact details, edit or remove content and cancel orders at our sole discretion.

16. Applicable law

By using this website, you agree that the laws of England and Wales, without regard to principles of conflict laws, will govern these terms and conditions, or any dispute of any sort that might come between Lean Team Solutions and you, or its business partners and associates.

17. Disputes

Any dispute related in any way to your use of this website or to services you ordered from us shall be arbitrated by state or federal court [England and Wales] and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Lean Team Solutions and its affiliates and hold [Lean Team Solutions] harmless against legal claims and demands that may arise from your use or misuse of our services. We reserve the right to select our own legal counsel.

19. Limitation on liability

Lean Team Solutions is not liable for any damages that may occur to you because of your misuse of our website.

This Agreement is an understanding between Lean Team Solutions and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.
